UNIMAS. My family sent me to Sarawak. Everyone in the family wish me the best. They put some kind of expectation. A high one, high expectation from me. I’m the eldest in my sibling and a daughter. I must be a role model for my sisters and brother. Yes, I know that. Sometimes I get pressure just think about my future, the parents’ expectation, being a role model. I don’t want to make the whole family in shame. No. No. No. That’s not what I plan to reply back all my parents hard work and care.
Well, just let me put aside all that. Hmm, before I came to Sarawak, there were a lot of preparations that I have to make. Medical check-up, the document for peninsular student, bought some cloth, filled up the form, some more form, then arrange it, and get into my baggage. A lot of hard work. Yeah, probably just grew some bicep there. Flew to the sky and yeah reach to Sarawak safely. I reach there like early 2 days before my registration day. So, with that, my family and I just went to the mall, bought some souvenir, taste Sarawak food, shopping, window shopping, hang around, and sleep late. The next day, we just visit my uni. Well, I just want a clear picture before the registration day. I get to see the senior or the called it LO “liaison officer” that on duty. Yeah, my senior I guess and see my collage (the place that I am going to live in). Sakura is the name of the collage that I’m going to stay this semester. They said that it is the only college that takes only girls. The other college is like unisex. Hahah lol. Hmm, I didn’t get to see boys after all. Hahah. I do not want to talk about my room, friends, lecturer, class, food or whatever in the university. I am not good at complaining stuff because I prefer to keep it myself. Just to be lucky enough to have a huge university to study. We must get through the orientation day for a week before we start our classes. There were a lot of students here. Can’t even count using my hands. Bahahahaha. The last 2 days, we get to eat Pizza and KFC. Yeah Cheers to UNIMAS. They make us feel like home. I didn’t feel any homesick throughout the week. Not at all. I feel that I am suited to live here anyway. I like it here. I meant my university.

Here, I just want to make up my mind that whatever I did, I won’t look back and I must move forward. Go Go Go. My principle here is that like you must wash your hands and mouth after you have done with the eating. You are not going to let all the excess food in your hands and mouth like that. So, wash it with soap and dry it like before. I am not sure I’m making this metaphor right or not, but what I have started I have to finish it. Yeah, something like that. Auuuwww you know it. So for this semester, I am going to enjoy my junior live as a semester 1 / year 1 student. Hope it is going to be fun, exciting, adventurous and full of knowledge. (Now, I’m sound like a geek). Wish me Luck.
